Ordering & products
How many 8g chargers does one cylinder replace?
A 666g cylinder holds roughly the same gas as 85 traditional 8g cartridges. A 2000g Maxxi is closer to 250. You get the same result with a fraction of the packaging and none of the empties to sort.
What is the difference between the sizes?
320g suits low-volume or home-pro use. 640–666g is the everyday workhorse for most kitchens and bars. 2000g (Maxxi) and 3000g are for high-volume service, events and catering where you do not want to swap mid-shift.
Do the flavoured cylinders change the taste of the cream?
Only subtly, and only if you want them to. The flavour is carried in the gas and comes through as a light aroma. If you want a completely neutral result, choose an unflavoured line such as Saturn or a standard N₂O cylinder.
What purity is your nitrous oxide?
All of our food-grade N₂O is 99.95% pure, free of oily residue and batch-checked before it reaches our shelves. That is what stops the off-taste and greasy mouthfeel you get from low-grade gas.
Do I need a pressure regulator?
For the large cylinders, yes — a regulator connects the cylinder to a standard whipping siphon and lets you control the flow. We stock them in Dispensers & Gear. Small 8g cartridges fit standard whippers directly with no regulator.
Can I mix flavours in one order?
Yes, and most customers do. There is no minimum per flavour on retail orders. For pallets, mixed-flavour configurations are available on request through the trade desk.
Delivery
How fast is delivery?
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Delivery is typically 1–2 working days on a tracked courier. Remote regions and islands can take 2–3.
How much does delivery cost?
Standard tracked delivery is £4.95, and free on orders over £75. Next-day express is £9.95. Pallet delivery is quoted per order. Full detail on the Shipping & Delivery page.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship across the UK and the European Union. Pressurised gas is restricted freight, so some destinations are handled case by case — get in touch with your address and volumes.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel is scanned by the courier. You can also use our order tracking page.
What if my delivery arrives damaged?
Photograph the packaging and the contents before you unpack anything further, then contact us within 48 hours. We will replace or refund. Do not use a cylinder that looks dented, corroded or damaged.
Safety & the law
Is it legal to buy nitrous oxide?
Yes, for culinary use. Nitrous oxide is widely used in professional kitchens and is legal to buy and sell for the preparation of food and drink. What the law targets is psychoactive use — possessing or supplying it to be inhaled. Everything we sell is food-grade and supplied strictly for culinary purposes.
Do you sell to under-18s?
No. We sell to over-18s only. We may ask for age verification before dispatch and we will cancel and refund any order we believe is intended for someone under 18 or for misuse.
How should I store cylinders?
Upright, below 50°C, out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources and out of reach of children. Never puncture, crush or incinerate a cylinder, even an empty one. Full guidance on the Safety & Legal Use page.
How do I dispose of an empty cylinder?
Empty cylinders are recyclable steel or aluminium, but most kerbside collections will not take them. Take them to a recycling centre and declare them as an empty gas canister, or ask us about trade collection on pallet accounts.
Why do you keep saying "culinary use only"?
Because it is the condition of us trading at all, and because misuse of nitrous oxide is genuinely dangerous — it displaces oxygen and causes nerve damage with repeated exposure. We would rather lose a sale than be ambiguous about it.
Returns, trade & accounts
Can I return an order?
Unopened, unused stock in its original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. For safety reasons we cannot accept used or part-used pressurised cylinders. See Returns & Refunds.
How do I get trade pricing?
Request a quote on the wholesale page with your business details and expected volumes. Pricing is tiered by pallet quantity and we respond within one working day.
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. An account just makes reordering faster and keeps your order history and tracking in one place.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. Trade accounts can arrange invoicing on agreed terms. See Payment Methods.
Do you supply documentation for compliance?
Yes. Safety data sheets, food-grade certification and batch documentation are available for trade accounts on request. Ask the trade desk when you request your quote.
