Returns & Refunds

Your rights, our process, and the safety limits on returning pressurised goods.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

The short version

  • You have 30 days from delivery to return unopened, unused stock for a full refund.
  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at our cost, always.
  • For safety reasons we cannot accept used or part-used pressurised cylinders.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.

Your statutory cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel a distance-sale order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Our 30-day returns window is offered in addition to, and does not restrict, that statutory right.

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods are also unaffected by anything in this policy.

What we can accept

We can accept a return where the item is:

  • Unopened and unused, with any seal intact;
  • In its original packaging and in a resaleable condition;
  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

What we cannot accept

Nitrous oxide cylinders are pressurised goods. Once a cylinder has been connected, part-discharged or had its seal broken, we have no way to verify its remaining contents or its safety, so we cannot resell it and cannot accept it back. This is a safety limitation, not a commercial one.

We are therefore unable to accept returns of:

  • Used or part-used cylinders and cartridges;
  • Items with broken seals or missing safety caps;
  • Items damaged after delivery through misuse, incorrect storage or accident;
  • Bespoke or specially configured pallet orders, unless faulty.

None of this affects your rights if the goods are faulty or were misdescribed.

How to return something

  1. Email our team with your order number and what you would like to return.
  2. We will confirm the return address and give you a return reference.
  3. Pack the items securely in their original packaging, with the reference visible.
  4. Send the parcel using a tracked service and keep your proof of postage.

Please do not send anything back before contacting us — pressurised goods must be declared correctly to the carrier, and an unannounced return may be refused or delayed.

Who pays for return postage

  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items — we pay. We will arrange collection or refund your postage.
  • Change of mind — you pay the cost of returning the goods.
  • Original outbound delivery charges are refunded in full for statutory cancellations, up to the cost of our standard delivery service.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process the refund to your original payment method. Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the goods (or of you providing proof of postage, whichever is earlier). Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional working days to show the credit.

If an item is returned outside the stated condition — for example, opened, unsealed or without its original packaging — we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value, or return the item to you.

Damaged on arrival

Photograph the packaging and contents before unpacking further and contact us within 48 hours. We will replace or refund at our cost, including postage. Never use a cylinder that is dented, corroded or leaking — see Safety & Legal Use.

Trade and pallet orders

Trade accounts are subject to the returns terms agreed in your account documentation. Where no separate terms are agreed, this policy applies, except that bespoke pallet configurations are non-returnable unless faulty.
